Four well-established Australasian poets, each with their own distinctive voice, come together in this exciting and innovative collaboration. The 'haibun-renga' Four Tellings takes us through landscapes of the past and present, detailing what it means to be human. Moments, such as the 'simple act of washing dishes' are distilled into haibun, and in so doing take on wider meaning. The spaces between the links invite the reader to participate in this work and only serve to increase its value.

What happens when four poets find each other in cyberspace? Stories will be traded--some true, some tall. Seat some old friends at one table and pour a pint for all; the delightful result will be much the same. Four Tellings is representative of our age--the communal work of talented haibuneers who bridge time and distance in cyberspace. For all that, Four Tellings is that table of old friends, too, who warmly offer you a chair.
